Any form of art is a form of power; it has impact, it can affect change – it can not only move us, it makes us move.”

— Pablo Picasso

Our Funding Strategy

With grants typically ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, our grant program focuses on three main areas:

  • public art and exhibitions

  • artist fellowships and residencies

  • arts education and access

While Wisconsin is our founders’ home, on occasion HFF makes commitments elsewhere - particularly in communities where extended family members live and work.

We work closely with grantees to ensure that our support has a meaningful and measurable impact on their artistic practice and on the communities they serve.
